1. Personal data collected

Through the contact form I collect your name, e‑mail address and message, solely to reply to you. Through the comment form on articles I collect your name and message, which become public on the site after moderation. For security and traffic statistics I record every page view in my own navigation log, which includes your individual IP address, the page visited, date and time, country, browser (user-agent) and referring page. Basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

2. Legal bases

Your consent for data sent via the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and legitimate interest for traffic statistics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Retention

Form messages: 24 months from receipt, then deleted or anonymised. The navigation log (including IP addresses): retained indefinitely, until manual deletion. You may request erasure of your data per the rights section.

4. Recipients

Cloudflare Inc. · processor for hosting, e‑mail routing and analytics, with adequate safeguards (standard contractual clauses) for any transfers outside the EU. Public authorities · only on request, as required by law.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction, portability, objection, and not to be subject to automated decisions. Exercise them free of charge by writing to [email protected].

6. Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian Data Protection Authority (ANSPDCP) · dataprotection.ro.

7. Cookies

This site uses no marketing, advertising or tracking cookies. Your theme preference (light/dark) is stored in localStorage · it stays on your device and is never sent to the server.
